I have the 06 ZO6 on order but as a Corvette lover, this is as good as it gets. Tell me this wasn't us as kids. Click on the Red vette after you click the link.

HAHAHA- That was so f()c%in& kool. Thank you for the laugh-loved it. What's this about this commercial being pulled? Why on earth would they pull the commerical? It's not about something like giving kids ideas on how to drive cars, is it? scheeeese!

I actually wrote to GM about why they pulled the commercial and I got back a very nice letter saying that they pulled it due to some consumer groups feeling that it protrayed an unsafe experience for kids.
Now really, with all the graphic violence on TV and DVD's, these idiotic goups think that this commercial is going to get some kid to go out and steal a Corvette and drive it like that? Another example of a small vocal minority wrecking it for the slient, appreciative majority.

I really don't understand why GM didn't side with their prospective customers and tell the consumer group to go take a hike. What could they do, start a boycott? IMO the people that this ad appealed to (myself included) who have been looking forward to owning a Vette for their entire life are not likely to be swayed from buying Vette just because some whinny consumer group has a problem with their ad showing an under-aged driver in the car.
Besides, that tells me the consumer group missed the entire point of the commercial. It wasn't appealing to under-aged drivers, it was more of a reminder to us potential customers of the childhood desires we had for the Vette. :*****
Consumer groups shoud be outlawed.
