CF Vendor
Interesting, so they lied in the first place about it shipping out? What did you order a supercharger or something? I can see this type of senario....
Customer Places Order... Vendor Places Order with their supplier... Normally product ships out right away with in a day-3 days... Vendor thinks product has shipped but has no confirmation... Customer calls Vendor and says yes it shipped...
Because maybe they didn't want to tell the customer no it didn't and look like they were slow at shipping or whatever. Or tell them...Were not sure if it shipped we need to check because it was shipped direct.
So customer is told it shipped he waits, vendor never follows up because they assumed it was on the way. Customer calls again, and vendor found out that it didn't ship due to a part missing to complete the kit.
This kind of stuff does happen... I do NOT know if this is what happend but this could be a similar possibility. When I ship something direct, I make sure my customer knows it will be shipping from another source and I keep them upto date as I recieve information on the status of their order.
Anyway... I would deal with the vendor directly on this situation to resolve it. And see what they can do, or cancel your order and order from another vendor. I am not promoting myself or my business of this I am just trying to give an honest opinion from the other side of the table.
