Default CF Vendor

Ok forum I need help. I have ordered product from a forum vendor and I still don't have it and it is a big ticket item. No I am not naming them because I don't want to get banned for two weeks and no it's not complete dreams so what do I do? I have called them and they first said it shipped do I want the tracking number and I said no if you shipped it will show (I was in my car on the cell and did want to find paper and pen when driving) and nothing. A couple weeks go by and I call them again and I am told it didn't ship they were waiting on one part but should ship that week. Now it's a couple weeks later and still nothing. This is a vendor that has been around a long time and well liked especially on the tech side but I posted here because I thought this was a general question nothing tech at all. Thanks

Interesting, so they lied in the first place about it shipping out? What did you order a supercharger or something? I can see this type of senario....

Customer Places Order... Vendor Places Order with their supplier... Normally product ships out right away with in a day-3 days... Vendor thinks product has shipped but has no confirmation... Customer calls Vendor and says yes it shipped...

Because maybe they didn't want to tell the customer no it didn't and look like they were slow at shipping or whatever. Or tell them...Were not sure if it shipped we need to check because it was shipped direct.

So customer is told it shipped he waits, vendor never follows up because they assumed it was on the way. Customer calls again, and vendor found out that it didn't ship due to a part missing to complete the kit.

This kind of stuff does happen... I do NOT know if this is what happend but this could be a similar possibility. When I ship something direct, I make sure my customer knows it will be shipping from another source and I keep them upto date as I recieve information on the status of their order.

Anyway... I would deal with the vendor directly on this situation to resolve it. And see what they can do, or cancel your order and order from another vendor. I am not promoting myself or my business of this I am just trying to give an honest opinion from the other side of the table.

Call them one more time, tell them if they do not have a tracking number you want a refund now, or you will post their name on the Forum. I would also tell a Forum administrator to get involved before you post their name!! Good luck in getting this resolved!! Keep us posted!!

I see... Then you really only have 2 choices.. continue to deal with the vendor/supplier and try to work something out. Or Cancel the order. Atleast those are the 2 main choices I see. basically that blows..

Hope it works out. I agree, call them again. Check the tracking # if you want.... if it's not in there, most likely so I would cancel the order.

Place one more call. If no results that would be strike three and they should be out.

call them once more.....they should realize if their name is revealed in the forum it could considerably hurt business.....a little threat could go a long way....

When dealing with ANY mail order supplier remember you only have 60 days to dispute the charge or you eat it. So after 40 days or so dispute the charge with your CC company, it stops the clock and if the vendor
comes through no harm done but if they don't come through your money
is protected and BTW NEVER use a check card they don't work like a CC
