Thanks for that info!

According to Kevin, they will be working on 11/5/05 (Saturday). Just wondered how often that happened.

Email I received from Kevin on 10/28 indicated my build would be on the line Saturday 11/05 and produced Monday 11/07. Not sure why...perhaps a backlog ???

Called the dealer again today and he said he will let me know tomorrow. Seems that information is sent to the dealers on Tuesdays. I sure hope so.... would like to get my vert before the first snow.

I think the contract calls for 4 Saturdays per year. GM can ask for more but the union can refuse. Six days at 10 hours makes for a long week.

UAW contract says you can work Saturdays (2 per month) or 10 hour days but not both.

If you have a TPW of 11/7 you might not have to wait quite so long. Kevin also said that, according to the present rate of production, some 11/7 TPW's will go on line Friday 11/4 and be produced Saturday 11/5.

Apparently they are a bit ahead of schedule.
