Possible Dbs Cure
Any experience with the "battery drain protector" out there?? Not sure of the manufacturer, but just saw it in Griots Garage Handbook (number 220, page #73). The description sounds like just the ticket for us DBS victims.
Since GM has successfully ignored this major dissatisfier and I'm a very proactive type, I'll be ordering one of these soon (unless one of you can point me to a better alternative).
I will not sit around and worry about whether or not my state-of-the-art, top tier supercar will actually start.

Been talked about quite a bit here. Do a search for "Priority Start" or "PriorityStart". Some of us have installed them just for that reason.
That said, it isn't a "cure" but a "treatment". Kinda like having Herpes and taking pills to suppress it.

They are popular on Motorhomes because they sit for months at a time
and some have battery drain.
