C6 AC System

I have noticed that on a trip of 1 hr or more my AC system will freez up and I have to turn it off for a short time to deforst . Is this normal. Thanks.

No. The system needs warranty service.

Needs the refrigerant level checked, should be fairly simple to fix. Is it an 05 or 06? 05's came with too much refrigerant and they fixed many problems by lowering to 1.1lbs.
