One great alternative to flaps is the 3M paint protection film, it's virtually invisible and it does a great job protecting from stone chips, etc.
Once it's on just wash with the rest of the car, also available for the front bumper, hood, etc. (more info available here: click, place did my car)

Last time I checked they wanted $400 just to do the wheel openings and rockers
Hello all.... First off, I just want to say that I am the last guy to put aftermarket stuff on my baby; I don't want to mess with perfection. So far all I have done is change to factory chrome wheels and a black wing air intake. I also lowered the car just a taste by turning in the factory bolts, about an inch all around. SWEET !!! This was the best improvement for the money by far, less than $100.00.
Anyway, I hade major reservations about the splash guards, even after I received them, from Mid America by the way, I looked at them and thought, maybe not.
Long story short...... I popped them on this morning, about a 10 minute job and all I can say is that if you have any reservations about putting these on your car DON'T, they blend right in and actually look factory. They don't bother me at all and no one would even notice them unless they were pointed out.
The benefits far outweigh any perceived cosmetic change. Big thumbs up !!
Kevin.
You can't explain it any better than this and the part about no one noticing until you point it out is absolutely true.
for my NCM delivery ride home. Do you need anything special for the install? Stubby philipshead or anything?
The instructions that come with them are good, you will need either a small thin flat screwdriver or a pair if diag cutting pliers, the NCM should have both

As Pipedream says a flat screwdriver to pop out the front fastener pins. You can push them back in with your fingers. The clips in back may need a bit of persuasion as they go on very tight. I wound up using the handle of the screwdriver to get them started, but a small hammer might do an easier job.
