Hi Gang I am thinking of pulling the trigger on a 2006.
I was told Monterey Red has been replaced by Velocity red? If true is the color the same? Going with black convertible top. Would Titanium Gray be better than Cashmere? This forum keeps making me buy new vettes.

Victory red is availible still as well as Montery red
Victory is RED!
Monty is more of a Metallic darker red.
Millenium yellow was replaced by Velocity Yellow, I think thats where your confused...
My vote for cashmere, more classy.
Gray would be more sporty looking.

Do yourself a favor and visit some of the dealerships and look at the interiors in person. You can ask everyone here our opinions, but they will all differ. Buy what you like and think is the best, that's all that matters.
Victory Red is like fire engine red. Monterey Red is a darker color and has a nice flake in it that really explodes in the sunlight.
Here's a shot of my Magnetic Red which is being turned in shortly for a Z06.

Good Luck!
All CORVETTES ARE RED,like victory red the sportiest color of all and was made for the CORVETTE an original color from the begining! BRIGHT RED MEANS SPORTS CAR
I'm picking up a Monty with black top and cas int at NCM on 12/15. You have to order it that way because dealers don't order it for stock with the top and int different colors. I think it's the best combo. Pictures in 4 wks.
I think the cashmere interior looks cheap, regardless of exterior color. The Cashmere seems to bring out the plastic lines, and doesn't match well with the black highlights or any chrome on the interior. I think of a Red car with a Tan/Cashmere interior like a Mitsubishi Spyder.
The victory red is classic witih the black interior and minimizes the appearance of a plastic-type interior. The grey interior also happens to look very good and sporty with the red, although I prefer the black; true sports car interior.
