Default Stripped C6 Interior

Well, I decided to change the interior color of my C6 originally it came with ebony, but am changing it to gray so we had to take everything out so it can be covered with leather, all the panels are going to be covered with leather and half of the dash is also gonna be covered with leather, the targa top is going to be two tone with embroidered logo on the top, seats are going to be two tone too, and steering wheel, Ill post pictures once the work is finished probably by next weekend. Heres also a picture of the steering wheel which is almost finished.

Bad timing, you could have just hooked up with this guy:

Wow this guy just could not wait any longer (from a ebay listing)

"This is a COMPLETE gray color interior for a 2005 Corvette. Here's the story: A good customer of mine ordered a brand new 2005 with red interior - but when it arrived it had a gray interior. Unwilling to experience yet another delay in getting the car he simply ordered a complete red interior from GM and replaced the gray interior.

The car had 13 miles on the odometer at the time of replacement - this is basically a brand new interior.

Everything - EVERYTHING - that is colored within the interior of the 2005 is here. All of the components are light gray.

here's what you get - 2 door panels, 2 seat belt sets, 2 bottom seat cushions, 2 outer top seat cushions, 2 inner top seat cushions, 2 sets of seat release cables with the color lever, the drivers side knee blister, glove box, center console, trim panel, moldings, 2 seat belt cover faces, and some assorted cloth pieces.

This replacement interior, ordered from GM, will cost you over $3800."

I wanna see those pics when it's done. 2-tone seats will look really nice. Are you going to do black/gray or 2 different grays?

Just curious if you are doing the work yourself, or having it done professionally (the expensive way)? GM may wants to see the result so that they can offer the upgraded interior as an option. Good luck with your project.

Did you take the wheel off? How did you do it. A lot of people wondering about getting the 06 wheel on their car. I looked in the manual and you had to do a bunch of stuff to de-activate the air bags and such.

Well, congrats on the bold step towards a custom interior, BUT... why the hell are you going with GRAY? Why not... red? Or blue? Or something cooler than just gray? May as well have kept black.
