I can see where it does help cut down the glare, but I would keep looking for other alternatives in the mean time.

I have never understood the strong opposition to dash mats.
It must be the herd syndrome or something. A dash mat is really a minor thingy and probably better looking than some of the women these guys hang out with.

If you wanted to get rid of the glare it would've been better just putting the whole dash mat instead of that small piece, JMO.
