From the moment I took the car off the lot on the 10th of Nov., there has been an annoying lite rattle on the passenger side of my '06 manual vert. The dealer thought it was the tonneau cover and messed around with the rubber adjustment screws. Still rattles. It definitely is not the seat belt as some have experienced. It now has 300 miles on it, and a swear I have used 290 to try and find the rattle with no luck - I wonder what the stereo sounds like? It goes back in for another look at the dealer tomorrow. Instead of having a garage technician put 100 miles on it trying to find it, has anyone else had this issue that you could give some advice.
Help is appreciated.
PS, I am not complaining about the car - I LOVE the car.
I had a similar situation with a small rattle/vibration in the drivers door. The Dealer tried four (4) time to remedy it but couldn't. They just kept applying two sided tape to the inside of the door. After 4 tries with the dealer, I took it upon myself and fixed it. The problem was that the memory buttons were a little loose in the door panel.
My vert has a rattle on the drivers side. It's the black insert on the door panel that houses the memory buttons. If you tap on it you may find your rattle. My bass knocks this around. I used a gasket scraper to push some foam up behind it. It's a temporary fix for now.
