Yeah, in 1970 $6000 was roughly half a year's salary. Now my new C6 winds up being about half a year of my current salary. Looked at it that way, Vettes really haven't increased in price in 30-35 years. Still "expensive" but worth every penny!

Thanks. Pics will be forthcoming, I hope. I cleared the card in the digital camera but then the sun decided not to cooperate in the photo effort. The C6 looks so great in the sun I wasn't happy about taking photos once it got cloudy. Looks like some snow tonight but just partly cloudy tomorrow. Have to take time out from turkey to get some photos and of course drive to pick-up something (really any excuse will do to drive it).

BTW, is there a specific procedure for putting photos up on the site. I believe that a basic member may post 3 pics per day but I am not sure how to accomplish the task. Is there a file size limit? Not sure if this is the right place to ask the question but any help would be appreciated. Thanks again.

Congrats.
There is a sticky on top of the C6 General page on how to post pictures. You can make the pictures 640 by 480 pixels for better viewing.

Congratulations and enjoy the vette. How many times have you looked in the garage just to admire. I still do and I am on my 5th Vette.

Thanks. Now I see the sticky. I knew the info was there somewhere, just couldn't see it. Glad it wasn't a snake. Soon as I go through the tutorial, and have some pics worth sharing, I will put them up. Nice shots of yours BTW!

Thanks. I haven't kept count but I keeping checking on it to make sure it's still there and that I did not have merely a great dream last night. Great to hear you still get that feeling about your Vette. Is the C6 your favorite?
