One of the biggest changes is the A6 and paddle shifters.

Mostly small stuff...
chrome trim on the radio *****
sensor to turn on/off passenger airbag instead of manual switch
steering wheel
GM badges
hidden XM antenna
stronger rear end

that's all I can think of right now

You no longer have to park the 6 speed in reverse with the emergency break on to avoid the battery from discharging.

In addition to what the others have said, chrome wheels were added to the option list for 06.

Badges? I don't need no stinkin' badges!

(The GM badge was added to the side of the car).

True, they did add chrome wheels to the options list, but none have been produced yet. In theory, it will happen sometime in calendar year '06. I'm not holding my breath, though.

Yes, that Z06 option was the big one.

millennium yellow was replaced with velocity yellow, mag red II was replaced with monterey red, although there were some '05 vettes towards the end of the model year that were painted those colors.

Digital OnStar system instead of the analog OnStar. This will let you share your Verizon Wireless minutes with your vette, if you wanted to.

I think these guys covered all the other changes I know about:
GM badges on the rocker panels in front of the rear tires
A6 with paddle shifters instead of the A4
steering wheel
hiding the XM antenna in the side mirror instead of on top of the B pillar (coupes) or on the trunklid (verts)
stronger diff gear
gear to park the MN6 in

are the Z51 brake pads different in '06? Too many people whining about a little brake noise on a performance braking system, and now they are going with a ceramic brake pad?

Those chrome rims really convinced me to go with the 06. Also the neat GM badges really make the car stand out.

Indicator for passenger airbag now in rear view mirror on 06, was on console on 05.

For use 05 owners this is a big item. Now if they just could figure out the problem and recall the 05s.
