need a cargo net

Hello,

Where can I buy a cargo net for a C6? I am not talking about the one that came with the car, that goes vertically across the rear panel of the cargo area. I mean one that covers the whole floor of the cargo area. Does such a thing exist? And if so, where can I get one?

I've never seen anything like that in any vender catalog or on ebay.

One of my few gripes with the car is that there is no way to tie down luggage stored in the back. Isn't that an obvious must have.

My Saab wagon had a net about 2.5x3ft, elasticized sides, made for horizontal mounting in the "way back". Try saabusa.com, go to "Accessories", then "Load Carrying" (I know, not intuitive) -- net is about halfway down left side. They also show the vertical trunk type, but keep looking for the flat "gladiator" type. Then figure out a way to anchor it.

Yeah, my Audi Allroad did too. Very handy. It looks like the real issue is mounting points. I guess I was hoping that if there was such a thing for the C6, it would come with instructions on how to mount it, solving the real problem.

Oh well. I'll keep looking and noodling.

On the C5, I could never find any place to anchor a cargo tiedown that would be strong enough to keep some heavy luggage in place during an accident, or even during a really hard stop. The plastic hooks for the stock net are no strong enough.

Has anyone found good anchor points on the C6?
