I have found that if you use a E-pass and don't like sticking it in your windshield you can leave it in your center console (on a C6) and it will work just fine as long as the battery isn't low and it sits lenght wise as it would if you had stuck it to your window. I have been all over Orlando and this has worked fine everytime. I have 15% tint on all my windows minus the front and it hasn't been an issue either.

I live in SC. They have a "bumper mount" transponder option for cars with metallic window coatings. They gave it to me for my C5. I moved it to the C6, and mounted on the backside of the grill with black cable ties. It works fine, and it's invisible.

I have been doing that for a while too, and it does work well.

I have monted my E Pass under the hood, I used 2sided tape and stuck it on top of the air filter box. I also put it in a plastic baggie to keep it dry.
works great and out of the way

Good tip. I usually just hold mine against the window as I drive through the toll.

Thats what I used to do that as well but got tired of it.

My dealer here in Houston said that works with our EZ Tag as well. I still put it on the windshield, I did not believe it. Maybe I will try it.

Mines on my front windshield but I mounted it high right behind the rearview mirror and you can't see it from the driver or passenger seat only from the outside.

There are alot more lately. When I got mine in June, they were scarce. But lately I see at least a few a week.

PM me or "NVR LAT" next time you are in town. We have a couple other LMB C6's we know and like to get together for pics and stuff. (As per the link in my other post). Actually there is no requirement to be an LMB!

I have a friend who does this often on his car (non-vette). I don't have an e-pass, but will have this in mind if I get one.
