OK OK I know...but please refrain from the bashing. I live in Florida where the sun is extreme. My car is a daily driver so I want to keep the dash from getting warped or cracked as it gets older. Does anyone know of a vendor that sells a good fitting mat?
From: Austin, Texas Codes 660, 9448, and 295660 work in the C6 navigation unit. No DVD playback yet.
I think the cracking dash is a thing of the past. I live in central Texas, and if there's a place closer to the sun, it's not in the United States. I've seen more than my fair share of cracked, warped, and destroyed dashes -- but never on a car manufactured past about 1985. I can remember when it was a pretty common occurance to get into a car 5-10 years old and see a splintered dash, but I couldn't tell you the last time I saw one.
I think your Corvette will do just fine with no mat at all.

I've got a brand new (in box) dashmat from Dashmats. It's grey and attaches with adhesive backed velcro. It's for an 05 vert with HUD. I never used it.
