Interesting there web site shows NO Vettes in stock
Most dealers sell below invoice when they don't have any
I must correct myself, I was curious if they had '05s, went back to gm website but tried it through the dealer locator directly and 4 06 coupes showed up, no verts or z's

It could be that they have an allocation for one and have to place the order by 1/31/06. It may be worth your while to check it out.
They sell a few vettes. They told me their first round allocation for Z06's was 7. They normally have 5 or 6 vettes in stock. Reliable Chevrolet in Springfield, MO is part of a 63 store chain. Here in Springfield, they also have the Mercedes, Totoya, Lexus, BMW, Subaru, Hyundai and Mazda dealerships. They have other Chevrolet dealerships, so they can move cars around to where they're selling best. Like most dealers, if they can stick you with a "market adjustment" over MSRP, they aren't bashfull, but they're easy to talk down if you're a serious buyer. They do get the Vettes and they sell them. I suspect they're reading the market, and adjusting their prices accordingly. They aren't noobs to the game of selling cars.
Thanks Joesc5 for the info. I'm going to order in a couple of month's and probably going to do the museum delivery so looking at several different dealers.
I have dealt with these guys in the past on a Lexus. The only thing I will say is after you shake hands on a deal.....is count your fingers.
They had document fees, $700.00 wax jobs, and more. Would never go back to them ever.
Not true. I paid 489.21 over invoice for my Vette. If you include the bogus advertising fees in the invoice price ($800.50), I paid $311.29 under invoice.

That would be a hell of a deal on a 2006. I bought mine from Reliable Chevrolet in Albuquerque, NM. I thought I had a good deal at 6% off of MSRP, I had their 1st allocation for 2006. Nothing but praise for this dealership, I was treated very well in all aspects of my deal.

What would $500 over invoice work out to, say on a $55,000 sticker vehicle? Kerbeck currently has $4500 off sticker on all 3LT 2006 coupes. I thought that was a pretty decent deal.
Go to "www.edmunds.com" and price out the vehicle with the options that you want and look at the invoice price they give you. The number they show is the number that appeared on my invoice before the fluff advertising fees were added in. The price I paid was $489.21 over that price, or $311.29 under invoice with the fluff added. The MSRP on my vehicle was $45,850 and I paid $41,090.21 plus tax and title.
I emailed these folks and asked for price and available alocation. No reply yet. Does anyone have more info from the original ad?
Thanks,
Roger
Dealers will more likely consider you a serious buyer if you call them. Reliable's toll free # is 1-800-725-5800 and ask for the sales mrg. They have 4 or 5 left over 2005's in stock, so make sure you ask them if the Hemmings ad for Invoice + $500 is for 2005 or 2006 models. Also ask them if there is a doc fee. They like to slide that in on you.
