If you play with it a little bit before you put it in, it should go in a little easier. If you have to hold it while it's in, that's OK too. Just don't pull it out too soon or you'll have a mess.

Mine auto fills fine. I've only done about 5 fills so far though.

Mine shut off twice today attempting to fill. Seriously, is it the depth or the rate of fill causing the problem? My sweet C6 was to polite to say which even though she left the station unfullfilled.

I don't have that problem BUT when the pump shuts off I can't get an extra few cents in or a squeeze on the handle without overfilling it. Seems to shut off right at max. Anyone else with this problem.

Works better than any other vehicle I've owned. When the pump clicks off, the tank is full. A lot better than having to trickle in fuel to top off.

With the California gas recapture attachment, I find that I have to hold and angle the nozzle into the center, or it will shut off.

For me it varies at different gas stations.

Same here! Overfilled first fillup coming back from NCM.
When the pump quits, thats all she will take.

Actually, I've had the premature problem a couple of times. But it is usually just fine.
