Since the first day I had the car, the air (or heat) would shut off without notice. A tap on the **** would turn it on again. This happened a few times a month, but now, the HVAC system won't come on at all. I did a search, but didn't come up with anything. It's winter and my $53,000 car has no heat. My new $53,000 car. The $53,000 car that's had five things wrong with it so far in 4,000 miles, including a rattle that sounds like a lug nut in a coffee can.
I'm almost glad that FedEx Ground delivered my Corsa Sport exhaust to the wrong person 1,000 miles away by mistake yesterday, except I paid for it. I hope somebody in Henderson, Colorado has a C6...
Has anyone else had their A/C or heat shut off by itself and not come back on? Oh, and sometimes the audio system won't turn on unless I pull over to the curb, shut the engine off, and restart the car. Pardon my frustration here.
I did have my wipers come on at full speed when I went over a RR track once. I lifted the hood and pulled a relay out of the panel and they turned off. Put the relay back in, and it was fine. Tapped on the relay and they turned on. I replaced it, and they were fine until a week ago. did it again. I pulled another Wiper relay and they quit again. I can't get it to repeat, but I'm going to check on it today. " Strange things are afoot at the circle K"
So, I just started the car, and the heat came on again. But now, the audio system won't come on. They're both in the same part of the dash, but, other than that, I am stumped.

Yikes... doesn't sound too good Paul. I hope it's something simple though. Do you have a good service center in your area?
I don't think I would have waited so long to have these problems fixed, even though you're talking about it having already been in the shop before.
When I had problems with the shifter and the muted radio, I let my dealer know about it the first or second time it happened, then took it in when it happened again.
Use your heated seats until you get the heater fixed.

Anybody? Bueller??
Is it the heat itself or the fan? First go for any hoses once it is hot to see if both are hot. Second, go for a fan fuse. Third take it to your dealer, oh wait, go local.
The radio is a known problem that's been discussed many times here. There's a TSB out for it that requires a replacement unit. Your dealer needs to get the serial number off your particular head unit and can then order the new one for you.
The climate control problem is odd. Again, it's something your dealer will have to deal with. It's a pain and it can get discouraging, but all these problems will have to be fixed under your warranty.
On the bright side....at least your battery hasn't gone dead yet.
