I'm thinking we'll see 19" front, 20" back wheels on the C6.

Also, anyone got a read on how much longer the C6 wheelbase will be as compared to the C5?

Is January 2003 almost here yet? I want my C6 Z06.

I think it has been said that the wheelbase will be a touch longer, but the actual car itself a tad shorter than the C5. This meaning that the wheels are pushed out to the corners more.

I really hope we DON'T see a 19/20 wheel combo on the C6. That will seriously limit tire selection, and I think a 19/20 combo is not a nice choice for performance handling.

3.5" making it 108" the same as the Caddy, the C5 is 104.5"

Lordy, I hope not!! Smaller = lighter. If I want 20 inch dubs I'll buy an SUV [img]http]//www.corvetteforum.cc/ubb/smile.gif[/img]. And as Scorp said... less selection. Anyone want to pay even more for their tires too? Not me. The current 17 front and 18 back are just fine. I guess I wouldn't mind seeing 18 inchers all around... but I imagaine the reason we have 17/18 from stock is a handling & ride quality issue?

Besides, that Caddy is so fug-ugly it needs all the help it can get from oversized rims.

c6 wheels will be 18"/19" on all variants. front tires are 245/40r18 on the base and 275/40r18 on the fe3. i forget the rear sizes, but i think the z06 rears are 325/30r19.

19" and 20" are usually on showcars or are aftermarket selections. I don't know of any mass produced car that come with anything larger than 18s. That being said, I'd love to see 19s and 20s as an option from the factory!

Tires on 20" wheels will sustain a lot of pothole damage, don't ya think? Plus, who wants that boys in the hood, ricer, dub look on a Corvette?
