Default C6 Checklist

So my C6 has been ready for shipment since Dec 5th and man-o-man I hope it comes in before I go out of town for the holidays. Anyway, being that this is going to be my first Corvette can anyone tell me if a checklist exist as to what I can expect to receive (i.e. 2 DVDs, owner's manual, etc....) and what I should look out for (adv fees, mileage, etc....)?

Just check out the car! Be sure to check the bottom of the car for damage from the hauler and check the engine oil just to make sure.

As for as price and fees I hope you have all that done before you get the car.

Wow this post can get long.

1. Check the paint.
2. Your package of info is huge.
3. Watch the DVD twice and then again in 2 weeks.

We do not have a prep fee, that is included. You will have a doc fee. Ours is $45 but I heard that is low.

This is what I received when I picked up my car. I don't think I missed anything but..............

1. Owner Instructional DVD

2, Personalization Instructional CD

3. Personalization Instructional CD cover the Navigation & Audio
Systems.

4. Navigation System Map DVD

5. XM Guide

6. Getting to Know Your Corvette (small booklet)

7. Owners Manual (and cover)

8. Warranty Information Booklet

9. Navigation System Booklet

Also be sure to get the warranty information pamphlet on the EMT tires.

TWO key fobs, window sticker, front license plate bracket (if two plate state) and a rear cargo net if a vert.

Think thats about it. Lastly be sure they give you a FULL tank of gas.

Good Luck

yeah make sure about the gas I got stiffed even though I insisted it was included.( this was the courtesy delivery not the seller that stiffed me ) Tommy jr was great

my car had about 3 miles on it. The advertising fees should be discussed before hand you should now before you come in what your bottom line fees are going to be. Don't forgot they have to collect state tax and there is a charge for running the paperwork to your local DMV plus the tag fee. i had a lunch hour to kill and did the tax and tags myself I was luckey it only took a half and hour. Most DMV are nightmare places and it is usualy worth it to have some one else suffer there instead of you

That fee is part of your invoice price, you are paying it either way.

nope I respectfully disagree it is negotiable even if it is included on the invoice depends on how bad you want to make the sale Josepy. I got stuck paying part of it because I did not know it existed when I negotiated for the car. It is an add on. there is no reason to pay for their advertising. Not all dealers participate in the regional advertising. Advertising is a cost of doing business. they can get away with it because of the sentiment you just expressed. At this point since they would like you to believe the cars are scarce it is part of the corvette tax.
BTW Tommy Jr is reimbursing me for the gas. ( originating dealer)
