I know that this has been beat to death , but I have now joined the club. I have my car programed (6Spd) so that the doors will not unlock unless the car is left in reverse. I have not had a single problem with this car since I've had it. I drove it Monday, parked it in the garage that night. When I went to go to work Wednesday morning it was dead as a door nail. Could not even open the doors. I got in by using the key in the hatch so that I could put a charger on it. Add me to the BDS club
Welcome to our ever growing club. Pretty soon we'll have enough members to have an annual tow in....I mean drive in.
Let your dealer have the car brought in dead and let him do the diagnostics. He'll find nothing and, likely, the battery will check out fine. At least it will be another DBS incident on record. As far as I know, GM is still saying they don't have enough dead battery reports to do anything, at least publically.
Conventional wisdom is to install a Priority Start so, if it happens again, at least you'll be able to start the car without having to jump it.
It's a real PITA and does tend to shake one's confidence in the car a bit. Many of these cases have involved a single isolated occurrence, so it may never happen again. Here's hoping...
I really feel for you 2005 guys. Haven't been any on the 2006 cars that I know of and maybe that has been put to rest. Whatever they did it would be nice if they could retrofit the 05 models the same way.

Two reports of 2006 cars with dead batteries this past week. Too early to reach any conclusions at this point, though. Hopefully, just individual problems.
