Default Storage Pouches worthwhile?

I'm considering purchasing the GM storage pouches that go behind the seats to use for map and other misc. travel storage.

Comments/suggestions from any of you who have them would be appreciated. Are they useful? Are there other options that are better?

I bought one for behind the passenger seat, and like it. I keep a map book in it (just in case), plus I find it to be useful for magazines on longer trips, and some C-6 material that I like to have with the car. There are probably a thousand uses for it considering the lack of storage area in the C-6.
To answer your question...yes I find it very useful, not to mention very easy to install without any modification (drilling holes, etc.) to the car.

If you have the memory seats, is there still room for a pouch behind the driver's seat when the seat is 'way back in the "easy exit" position?
Or should we use only one pouch, behind the passenger?

I think useful... keep one of those coil fold up type sun screens for windshield in it... as to Jim's question... only if you put something flat and reasonably thin in the pouch would I place in behind the drivers seat...

Yes, they make up for that undersized and almost unusable glove compartment. Get two- behind both seats. They work well, hold more than you would think possible, and are truly out of the way.

Default console bags

I'll tell you guys what I use for extra storage.
I bought those console storage bags. I don't put it on the console. They fit in perfectly right in front of your seat. The width fits right in between the seat rails and tucks in rather nice. They come in interior color choices and have some decent room for seldom used stuff you have to have with you, and it doesn't stand out at all.
Check 'em out...

Yes. I have mine behind the passenger seat in easy reach while driving. It's hidden and a good place to keep things out of sight. I like it.

I found it very useful since glove box is so tiny.

I also have one behind the passenger seat. It is easy to reach and is convenient for carrying maps. I bought mine from Beans.

"Console travel pouch"
Here ya go....http://www.madvet.com/shop?frame=7.54.6932

I thought about the behind the seat pouch, but wanted something that could be accessed easier. If you have a passenger its kind of hard to access. So I got this and didn't like it where it supposed to go. Found the spot infront of the seat between the seat rails and its looks great IMO. Now I have them on both sides.

The Console Pouch looks pretty thick- does it fit under your seat or in front of the seat?

Also should look nice when installed on the console to keep my wife's Kleenex.

With a console bag at the front of each seat, one on the console, and a pair of the GM storage pouches behind the seats; there would be a ton of extra storage space.

The back of the pouch is tapered for the rise in the console, so it tucks under the seat a little (2"). You can still open the flap and feel for things as your driving, or pull it out when your stopped to get stuff, tuck it back and go, stays in place also. Works well and looks like it belongs especially if you get them for both seats.
