Default STrange Electrical Problem

I just got my C6 back from the dealership on Friday. I have two strange electrical issues.

1. Every time I stop the car (power off) the side mirrors reset to a fully down position.

2. On the HUD display, the oil and water temp gauges no longer appear on the two track modes.

Of course I am taking it back on Monday (I just noticed on Saturday). Has anyone seen this before? It makes me think a temp sensor has been unplugged.

Thanks!!!

Reset your memory settings on both driver 1 and driver 2. It sounds like your memory setting kicking in causing you to have to manually reset your settings.

Does sound kinda weird - hope you get it resolved and would be interesting to know what fixed the problem.

That's gotta be it!
And maybe you're using fob #2 by mistake, look on the back of the fob. Make sure fob #1 is programmed for door memory button #1!

Thanks for the very good advice. I will try those things and report back . I understand how that might affect the mirrors, but the HUD display missing temp gauges seems really inconsistent.

You can hit the page button to rotate through the subdisplays on the hud.

Thanks. You all were right on the money. Hitting the page button scrolled me through the oil temp/pressure & water temp HUD display options. I got the mirrors positioned and held the driver one button down until it beeped twice and now the mirrors are staying in place. It seems strange to me that the mirror memory was lost but the seat memory and all the DIC settings stayed current. I know many of you have read every word in the owner's manual, I have read only about 50% :o . Your help saved me wasted time at the dealer.
