Does anyone in here know where the paint code is printed on the label in the glove box?
Can you tell from your VIN?
I ordered some paint from Beans for my LMB, received it and it says on the can
#12346696
CODE19
"LUXO blue Met."
wa 933L
I used it and it appears to be much darker than LMB.
Any help out there?
Thanks

The correct code is 19/WA933L so that sounds right. With all the tint coat paints the spray you recieved is most likley the top or tint coat (like a candy blue). You need to spray it over a base coat, most likley a metalic silver. I have purchased GM cans of M. Yellow and montery red and whey are only the tint and need a base to make them match
The only number that comes close, real close, on the glove box sticker is 19U
I wondering if theres a slight difference?
The 19U is the GM paint code.
At the end of all the text on the glove box sticker, there should be "W" or "U" code followed by three digits and maybe a letter very close (maybe adjacent) to the 19U code. It has to be there...auto body shops always look for the "W" (DuPont) code on the body to identify the color; they could not care less about the GM code.
Call your DuPont paint store...they can probably explain the LMB sytem (BC/TC or tri-coat), and if the blue you have is only a tint coat.
