Default *Two problems

I have two problems. Has anyone else seen these?
1. Tonneau ajar. Hit reset and it is gone for a few minutes.

2. Today I started up and the windshield wipers came on in delayed mode, so I tried to turn them off. No matter what position on the switch they are always in delayed mode.

Wiper relay?? Micro-switch on the tonneau problem??

I have an appointment at a dealer next week.

Forgive me if I'm asking the obvious, but are you sure the wiper stalk was all the way down in the "Off" position. (I'm referring to the "Off" detent of the stalk itself, not the position of the rotary dial that determines the wiper speed when the stalk is in the "intermittent" mode.)

The wipers were operator error, tonneau isn't.
