Not sure what you mean here. Z51 option packages sell better used than base suspension or f55? I can understand a used Z51 selling for more than a used base, but does it sell for $1700 more? And how would an f55 or automatic tranny be a negative in the used market a few years from now? Just curious as to the logic.
I LOVE my MN6 Z51 Blk/Blk/Red Vert too!!! Plan to mod some more for looks, not too much on performance cause its already there. I'm not racing, dragging etc.... so why go overboard on power I won't use?

Due to the constaint put on the Z51 option for '06 cars they "should" be a little less available in the future...high-volume dealer's allocation not withstanding and the older [age of buyers] the market gets for these cars, the less desirable manual transmissions become
I love to drive the MN6, everywhere, all of the time, even in traffic. I really can't understand the complaints about driving a manual in traffic. What's the problem?. I've always had manual transmissions, but then I've always had sports cars.
I have an A4 non z51 and have no regrets whatsoever.
I bought the auto for comfort as I won't be racing it. If I want to run someone, I run through the gears. The shift from first to second once you get the feel for when to shift is exactly like a stick. Second gear takes you to 75- 80 MPH so you only need 1 shift if your on a "street" ,you don't you need much more than that to prove to a ricer or a stang that you got him!
As far as the Z51, well your gonna hear from the "club" that its the best thing since sliced bread, IMO its testosterone speaking. I can tell you my buddy has the Z51 and when he orders another he's NOT getting the Z51 option after driving mine because of how stiff it makes the ride compared to my Base suspension. It also proved to me that I made the correct chioce after driving his.
Its nice, but unless your tracking it, its not for normal roads and normal driving.
