Question

I just noticed on my way into work tonight there's a button on the climate control that looks like a snow flake with a line through it. Anyone know what this is for? Like I said, I'm at work and don't have the owners manual with me and did a search and couldn't find anything.

It means keep the air conditioner off no matter how low you set the desired temperature.

But seriously, that is the button to turn off the AC.

That is my take for it too. Otherwise it is auto temp control.

Almost. It's actually to shut off the A/C compressor. You might be getting ready to put the petal to the metal and you want to shut off the A/C compressor without actually shutting off the entire climate control system. See page 3-27 of the 05 owner's manual (below).

^(Air Conditioning Off): Press this button to turn the
air conditioning compressor off.
