Here are your pics... I contrasted them to bring out the seams but in normal light you can not see. The 3M film is actually wrapped from black wheelwell liner around to out edge. The front and rear bottom pieces are a thicker film (due to abuse...the junk that causes road rash) and for the front run from wheelwell opening back to point where the first seam for the runner board is located (just bellow front edge of door opening)>>>

Works great...film takes the beating and then you just remove and have more installed... these pics are after about 2500 miles on the car.

Is this a DIY installation, or do we have someone do it for us?

Price?

Where to get it?

I installed a set of splash guards which seems to have done the trick.

i had the 3M stuff done at the dealership for about $100. that was all 4 wheel well edges and the upward curved part of the back fenders.

if the flaps touch the paint it will wear it off from the air moving the flaps around with the dirt between. this happened on my 02 C-5 using the mid america ones.

Didn't know that. I will need to check the area from time to time. Thanks.

Black splash guards from Mid America. Blends in with the tires, people don't even notice them.

I cut and attached clear film to the edges where the splash guards rest against the fender lip so the guards don't actually touch the paint.
