388 pounds???
I was installing my Lloyd mats and happened to look at the sticker on the drivers side door and noticed that the combined weight of all passengers AND cargo is recommended not to exceed 388 pounds.
My wife and I are fine, but put a suitcase or two in the back and we're over the limit.
Anyone else think this is a little low??

The car was designed for single people who travel alone and pack light.
I wouldn't pay too much attention to that limit...it's not workable.

WOW 388 pounds. I only have 210 pounds to spare.
Another reason to have a "no fatties allowed" in my car.

In threads about this last year, the weight for passengers & cargo was said to be about 423 lbs. What's changed?
EDIT: I just looked at the label on my 05 C6 and it says 423 lbs.

My wife and I are going on our diet (again) starting in January. Oh well if she doesn't make the weight I'll just leave her home.

Depends on what her weight is. You might be the one left home.
