I have my bullets for a couple of months, You have to like the loud. (I do) When I first installed them my wife says that if you like them that is all I care about. But she put ear plugs in the first couple of short trips. We just finished a two thousand mile trip in four days. She didn't complain one time. Every time you excelerate there is a drone. When crusing at a steady speed, say 70 mph on level ground or down hill you can talk at a normal voice. But when you start up grade even a little up grade you will discontinue conversation until the car levels off again. At idle or at wot the sound is great. For every day crusing you better like the loud. I do. With this exhaust you gain some and lose some. Go for it.
Dennis,
Just another Corvette guy
I had a set of B&B's Triflow exhaust installed on a 94 Z-28 M6. Cruising in 2-3rd gear at around 30mph made the car sound as nasty as a Bush series NASCAR. Extreme Muscle car sound. On the Highway at 60-70mph in 6th gear (great gas mileage) no drone or inside noise. Now I know this car wasn't a C6 or even a Corvette (although it did have a vette LT1) but the exhaust was 1 of B&B's finest and the sound that the exhaust produced was a 100% all American Muscle. I realize that some on this forum prefer quieter sounding exhaust closer to stock over a louder throaty sounding all American muscle flow, but that's the beauty of Corvette ownership. Your Corvettes reflect who you are through your personal custom touches. I'm new to the Vette Family, but I can't help but notice that almost every Vette owner is exactly like a Harley Davidson owner. As soon as the bike leaves the showroom floor, the customization begins. I love American Icons!!
