Hey guys... I've had many vettes and all are only "water resistant"... some just plain leak. Just got my 06 vert and was wondering if an C6 owners (verts) have had better luck with leaking or is it the same old thing? With the window indexing... it seems that it will be better.

My C4 leaked, my C6 doesn't...at least not yet. I got caught in a substantial rainstorm once about a month after getting my 2006. The only moisture on the inside was from condensation, and that disappeared once I turned on the defog.
Had my C5 from April 98 till June 05. No leaks, and I went threw some bad a**ed storms.
Got my 05 vert in June, no leaks, and I hit a few real bad storms+ just regular rain.
Had my late 05 vert for 6 weeks, seen some toad-stranglers and had no leaks. Been at freeway speeds, too, during one. Have noticed getting in the drips from the top's edge go onto the seat bolsters, but that is rain for you.
When Kevin took me on his tour to watch my C6 built 2 weeks ago, we watched the water test: 720 gals/min for 2 minutes. When the driver took her foot off the brake pedal, we couldn't even see the car through the "rain", LOL! But we asked Kevin if more verts failed the water test than coupes, and he said, "Nope, not at all." I think we all (coupes and verts) have ourselves a much better Corvette in all areas.
I have driven the vert in two hard driving rainstorms with no leaks at all. The same thing when I washed the top with a pretty good water flow when the the top was very dirty. Bone dry.
Went through a downpour on Christmas night. 70 miles at highway speeds with no leaks. 05 vert. My only complaint was how dirty the car was when I pulled into the garage.

If you've ever been to the factory to watch what they put the Corvettes thru in the "rain booth", you wouldn't ask. They are tight.

I've had a C5 coupe and convertible, and have now had a C6 coupe and convertible. None of them has leaked, and in both cases, the convertibles are actually quieter with the top and windows up.
I have an '05 'vert which I had to leave out in hurricane Wilma (no garage). The eye passed over my house. After the storm, although the outside was filthy, the interior was bone dry.
