Airbag sensor
Has anyone had any issues with the airbag sensor coming on. When I start the car or drive around, the airbag sensor comes on and then goes away w/time. I wonder if its electrical? If I bring it to the dealer and the sensor is not on, can they still detect some sort of malfunction?

Do you have something in the passenger seat when the light comes on (like a briefcase, purse, backpack, etc.)? I am not sure how the system works, but a lot of the systems out there will disable the passenger airbag (and turn that light on) if there is something small in the passenger seat. It thinks it might be a baby or child seat and turns the airbag off to prevent injury in a crash.
Bottom line is if there is something in the passenger seat, move it to the floor and see if the light still comes on.

Yes, had the same thing. I've had it fixed once. They said it was a lose connector under the drivers seat. It was ok for about 3 months but, came back about 2 weeks ago, went off and on for about a week and is now gone again

Thanks for all the replies...I have a 2005 and you have to manually turn a key to turn the airbag off. It eventually goes away and comes back on for short periods. It just bothers me that the car is not perfect and that the GM service is scetchy. If it starts staying on for long periods, I will just have to bring it in for service.
