Default A6 or M6

Seems like GM will be pushing 70 % auto with the response of the new paddle shifters. Personally, I like having a clutch but I'm in the minority. I wouldn't want to repair it after 3/36 though.

Some want to "stomp and steer" and some want to "stomp, steer and stir." It's whatever floats your boat. The A6 with paddle shift does make the automatic an easier choice.

Can't go wrong either way but that 6 speed manual sure can be a blast.

Stop and go traffic as a daily driver A6. Any other M6 is the way to go.

My daily driver is an auto, the Vette is a 6 speed manual.

Only real answer is both. A vert with the manual and a coupe for the commuting.

I can't even see these in ferraris. I know they shift quicker than the 6 speeds can be shifted for better performance, but even those are in a different league, and price.

IMHO you can't beat the m6.

I drive in a pretty even mix of city and highway, with some traffic too (which can get really bad here on Long Island) and I wouldn't give up stick for the world. I like to be as involved in the driving experience as possible and I feel a manual tranny is the best way to do so. Also it's a whole lot more fun!! Just my $0.02.

Always go with the MN6. It'll leave you with $1200 for hookers & blow.

I've only ever considered a manual for any of my sports cars.

This question is asked over and over again on this board. There is no good answer other than get what you want. The C6 is a great car either way. I have the A6 and love it. If you know that you will be unhappy not rowing, then get the M6.
