Default Partition Mod, pic

Had this made from Forum vendors Exoticvette.com & THE C6 Rear emblem is from PFYC.
The partition does a couple of things. Its keeps your stuff in the rear hatch area concealed, pushes rear speaker sound forward, keeps things from flying forward in a quick stop & gives a good place for cd cases, water bottles, quick shopping items.
For new C6 coupe owners, you may not of seen the Petition yet so here it is

Does this feature interfere with roof panel storage?

Nice Randy! Now you need the clear top!

I would add to Guitarstar's post that the C6 emblem does not come with the partition. Nice addition!

Great question! Answer:No.

If you go to http://www.exoticvette.com/C6%20partition.htm

They show a photo with the roof panel in.

Its a tight fit, but you can definitely put the roof panel in the hatch with the partion installed. I think the partition is FANTASTIC!

Gawd, with all our mods, will be able to see any of the actual car???

My response at my next car show..."I know there's a corvette in there somewhere!"

Did you change the color of your rear deck carpet?

The partition looks good with the standard ebony carpet with my cashmere interior.

Guitarstar: How did you get the emblem to adhere to the carpet? I received my partition just before Christmas but haven't put it in yet. I have an emblem currently mounted on the exhaust plate bracket (that I can no longer use because I installed a Borla exhaust system). I think that a little heat on the back of the plate will allow me to remove it but then I will need to determine how to mount it to the partition. I'm thinking that I can use the 3M tape or a couple other types of adhesives. Do I have to give the area of the carpet where the emblem will be mounted a "hair cut" first? Depending on what you tell me I may just buy a new emblem.

Best looking and most functional looking partition I've seen so far.

This is a "rear" emblem. It came with a tape adhesive. I had to cut off two metal studs with wire cutters that were sticking out for rear mounting.
You do not need to give the petition a haircut. I peeled the backing paper off after I snapped off the metal studs & it stuck right to the petition. I would recommend a 3M spray adhesive or two sided heavy-duty "Thin" tape.
