That looks great! Reminds me of watching Battlestar Galactica and showing Apollo and Starbuck in their ship's cockpit.......

Wonder if they sell purple bulbs? I would buy those!

It's a simple blub replacement. Only tips it the ones in the mirror are very hard to pull out since you can't reach your fingers in. I used a piece of rubber hose (larger vacuum line) and pushed it in over the bulb and just pulled it out.

I don't see how it would affect the map on my nav.

Two things:
1). Can anybody tell me an easy way to get the bulbs out of the review mirror.
2). My wife works for Lexus in the Corp Office and she has a company car. One of her company cars is the GS430 (high end luxury vehicle)which runs in the same price range of a Vette or more and the inside lights come "BLUE" standard and on a lesser scale so does the Scion. So would you please stop bashing people just because they tried something new and was kind enough to share it with fellow Vette owners. If you don't like it you don't have to do it but you also don't have to try an belittle them. Someday there maybe something that will benefit you and the person won't want to offer the idea because they won't want to be ridiculed. I think it looks great and I did the lower lights and I'm having a few problems getting the bulbs out of the review mirror.

That's them I was surprised at a local speed shop I paid only $14.99. Two side effects I found. Since the voltage draw on LED is so very very low, after the lamps dim down you can still see a very very faint glow in the dark. It's the LED running off of what voltage is left in the "dim down cap" (I called PIAA tech support to confirm). Other thing is that if you left the interior lamps on my mistake (you know pushed the button in) it would take months to drain the battery since LEDs use almost no voltage.

OK, this sounds crazy or maybe not. I want to go with Red. I am doing the Red and Black contrast. Vanity plate VIRTIGO. Anyway that google link went to a shop but they only sold amber, white, and blue. Is red avaible? It's raining today in SoCal so this would be a good rainy day mod!! Nice thing is the Vert does not have the rear cargo area to worry about.

Nice mod. I would also like to do it but in red. Would that look okay since I have red interior and blue would be kinda odd IMO?
