I will be relocating to the Houston area in a couple of weeks. Any Corvette Clubs on the south or west side of Houston and dealer recommendations for the same area?

Since there are 4-5 clubs in the Dallas area I'm sure there are several in the Houston area. Post this in the Southwest Forum. lots of folks there own all generations of Vettes, not just C6s, and will help out, I'm sure.

I live inside loop 610 SW of downtown. There are several good vette clubs in Houston. We used to belong to the oldest, the San Jacinto Corvette Club. Nice folks, but got too busy with kids and other activities and dropped out. I have yet to find a good Chevy dealer on the Southwest side. Courtesy Chevrolet on I-10 W seems decent when I visited for parts or window shopping, but have yet to buy a car or get service there. Got great service at Mundy Chevrolet, but they are way up North. Stay away from Landmark and Bill Heard, IMO. Have used Davis on the South Loop because they are close. No nightmares, but not impressed either. Bought my C6 from a dealer in Grapevine, near Fort Worth, as the Houston dealers were not willing to deal much.

Not that far. Besides, Ricky, COH's shop mgr. runs a real tight ship. To me I'd go there even if I was in Beaumont. In fact, from Maypearl to their shop is a fun 3.5 hr drive thru the woods for me.
