Coupe or vert? If vert I vote Monty red with black. Coupe, orange with black.
I agree on Mont red/black for vert.
Me, I've gone between that and silver/gray...for a vert, it's probably
smart to get light colors when it gets hot.
But that Monterrey Red is really beautiful, IMO.
At first I was absolutely going to purchase a black/ebony coupe, but when I saw the Monty Red, I feel in love with it. So I ordered a Monty Red/ebony. I just love the color combination. So my vote would be Monty Red all the way.
Monty Red. I have an '06 Monterey Red and an '00 Magnetic Red, which are both great, great colors. The orange is nice but is short-lived, whereas Red has always been a basic Corvette color. And in the sun, the Monty Red really shines.
YELLOW If you can take the geat from the friends who don't have the guts to get it.
I have had the polo green, artic white, pewter, electron metallic blue, and now the YELLOW......I know what you mean about the comments from your "buddies" but in the end its just plain sharp!! Between the two I would go with the MONTEREY RED....If I thought my friends would not call me a "closet" Alabama Fan I might have went with the MR. But in the end I believe you will be happy with either choice!!
i hate to say it... but the best color isn't made... its gunmetal... the c5's had pewter... but even that wasn't close... gunmetal is bad ***... it has all of the agressive yet classy look of black, but none of the swirly dirty hassle... plus polished wheels look sick with gunmetal too...
my advice, buy a black one used that needs a paint job, or had some light front end damage... and then paint it gunmetal
I like my DSOM when the sun is shining or at night under lights. But when it is cloudy ug. Two that I have seen on the road that were not clean looked nasty.
