Default How do you........?

I have two, unrelated questions and I hope some of you folks know the answers:

1) How do you remove the wheel center cap without damaging it? I want to turn them so the flags point to the valve stem.

2) What is the easiest way to shrink a big photo down to 150x150 pixels for an avatar and still retain sharpness? I have been using the resize function in MS Photo Editor, but the results are always real grainy.

Thanks!

Did this a couple of weeks ago (nothing better to do). I placed a thin-bladed common screwdriver into one of the spaces between the cap and wheel and used a slight twisting motion to dislodge the cap enough to grasp it with my hand and pull it off. I placed a clean rag between the screwdriver and wheel to avoid any damage. The cap is plastic, so be careful with it as well.

To resize a photo use a host site like photobucket.
