Default Coco Mat question....

Do Coco mats extend further back than the stock mats (all the way to the metal seat rail) and does the driver's mat extend up onto the firewall?

I'm seriously considering these but want to make sure they cover more area than the stock mats since I'm going with a dark color on the cashmere carpet.

In back they go to the seat rails then there or four inches under the seat. In front they don't cover anymore the stock does.

The brand I bought are exactly the size of stock.

Try www/cocomats.com

The size is great, and works out well on my cashmere carpeting. They are rubber backed, sharp-looking and do not have the matting and discoloring disadvantages of carpet style mats.

Thanks for the info. I sent you an e-mail with a couple more questions as I'm still trying to determine exactly how they fit. I'm sold on quality, have received color samples, and know where to buy...just want to make sure they cover the amount of area I'm looking for.

I purchased coco mats from cocomats.com and absolutely love them!

They are wider, longer and cover considerably more area than the stockers. They are incredibly well built and seem like they should last for many years.

I liked them so much, I contacted the company and had them make a custom set for my wife's 2005 Expedition.

I am getting ready to purchase a set for my son’s new Ford 4X4 Truck.

Speak with the owner (can’t remember his name). He is a great guy to work with! Tell him “Rob from Phoenix” referred you!

Did you get the generic size for the vette, or custom?

Generic.....the mats they have for the C6 go under up, under the seats, and cover more than the stockers.

I had Lloyd's mats in my other vettes, but nothing compares to the cocomats. They don't show dirt, footprints, etc. Water can't get through them as they are rubber lined.

I also have the rear cargo mat. The cocomat material they use is so dense it cuts down on road noise. I love them!

The stock mats are way too short. The CoCo mats are just right.

Those look great. I have never even heard of Cocomats before but am definitely interested now. I too have cashmere color interior, what color do you recommend?

You can look at colors on their website and request samples also. I think it depends partly upon the color of your car. They do not have a color that matches the cashmere...so IMO you have to go with black...either plain or with colored dots. The natural dots are very close to the cashmere so coordinate well with the interior. Others also get the dots that are close to the color of their car (i.e. blue dots for LMB as in photo in this thread).

With the Cashmere interior, I think the black with natural dots would look great.

I would have never thought you would say generic Rob. (???)
I would think the C6 would definitley take a custom fit mat.

Where am I going wrong?

Mine are the CoCo brand. I think the poster above has the website correct. I ordered within a week of ownership over a year ago and they came in within a few weeks.

Good Luck

My bad...I misunderstood the question!

Mine were custom made by cocomats.com

Sorry!

That's what I thought ... even though you said generic, I had a feeling they had to be custom and that you must have misunderstood.

Anyway, I think they look great. I've never heard of them before the other day, but after looking at their website and at the pics posted above, I think I might get them.
