New Paint ???
Took delivery on 1-4-06 of LMB A6 base coupe. I LOVE this car.Have planned all along to cover with dustop and car jacket and put in dry barn to await spring(this is deep winter in MA.). Now having second thoughts about paint not cured and maybe I should take her out of the bag. The car jacket did say new paint should be cured for 3 to 4 months before storage in jacket. Does anyone know how long body painted prior to build date. Request your opinions or experiences please.

Paint on all factory released cars is cured prior to delivery. So you can wax it, seal it, or cover it as soon as you get it. The confusion lies in repainting or repairing a car. Usually the rule of thumb is 30-90 days to allow outgasing unless the paint was baked at very high temps like the factory.
