Build date??
I have a new coupe ordered and would like to be present on the day that the car is to be assembled. Is there any way that this info can be obtained??? I will be flying from L.A. to either Louisville or Lexington and would like to have this information as early as possible in order to get a decent rate, book hotel room, etc. My order code is currently 1101.

Once your car is 3300, which is "scheduled for production" IIRC, email Kevin Terrance at ezra.tarrence@gm.com with your order number. Kevin works at the Bowling Green Assembly plant and can tell you your VIN, what day your car will go on and come off the line, and arrange a VIP tour for you for that day. Sometimes you can even drive your 'vette off the line to the QA area. He usually responds to emails the next morning, early.
