MP 3 Functionality
My dealer (Reedman-Toll) PA. states they do not do and will not do this fix. I gave them the tech bulletin # 05-08-44-014A and they won't even look it up - they just keep saying they don't do this type of thing. Any suggestions - is this under warranty? can I call GM and make them do it?

If you need the discs to do it yourself, let me know. It was SOOO easy that it's almost funny....well it's actually really funny that the dealership won't do this for you.
I did it on my early edition 2005 (9/2004) and now I can play MP3 without a problem.

And I thought my dealer's service was bad.... They at least looked at the bulletin and MISTAKENLY said I did not need it......
I have since done the upgrade myself and am currently enjoying mp3's!

From: Austin, Texas Codes 660, 9448, and 295660 work in the C6 navigation unit. No DVD playback yet.
