Default tinting back window?

Has anyone tinted the rear window on the coupes. I'm trying to decide and I'm thinking that it could get pretty hot if not tinted. What are your thoughts?

Yes I have. Do it. I have 35% on the back and 2 sides. I will try to PM you some pic.

Oh wait! I don't know how to do that on this forum.

Always my first mod here in TX. Make sure you get a good installer that has done C6s. The back window is tough to tint.

I must admit I was a little nervous when I dropped mine off to get tinted since I was only the 3rd or 4th C6 they had done. They have done plenty of high-end cars, were very knowledgable, and assured me that if I wasn't 100% happy w/ it, they would redo it until I was. It came out beautifully! I was very impressed that they got it done in 1 piece w/ no bubbles or crinkles.

I'd have to wait till tomorrow to take a better pic of the rear but here you go.

35% all around...

Yes, I tinted the back at 20% and the sides at 35%. Helps a lot to reduce glare on the navigation screen if you have that option.

Yes. 35% all around. Tried 20% on the rear of my C5 but it was too dark for my liking--too hard to see out of even during the day and, especially, at night. I "let" the dealer do the C6 before I took delivery.

It will help protect your interior from the sun, and help reduce heat.
Besides that , it looks good!
