Default 6 Speed Shift **** Mod

No big deal, but yesterday I replaced the stock shift **** with the Momo "Shadow" carbon fiber/leather shift ****. I like the look and feel of the ****. Someday, I plan on installing the carbon fiber IP and console trim plates.

I like that one, but I don't plan to update any other parts to carbon fiber so it might be out of place in my Black C6. I have been looking for shift **** that is alumimum and round, similiar to the Voodoo **** I had on my Honda S2000. Voodoo only makes Screw down *****, so they don't make one for the C6.

Looks very nice, especially if you ever get the rest of the dash in carbon fiber. I like the stock shift **** a lot. Chevy designers spent a lot of time designing the stock ****, tested over 30 models to get it just right. I am very happy with their work, think it looks cool too.

Hmmm MBA Products. I don't think I know of that one. I notice in the pics that you talk about the shifter. Did you actually change the shifter to one with a threaded rod?

That co. went out of business, but their remaining inventory is being sold by another (non forum supporting) co. That's a C5 threaded ****. I had my stick shortened and threaded to accept it.

I put a cue ball on as my shifter ****.

It's a little large for my hand, but it's a sentimental favorite of mine.

Default carbon fiber trim kits

Hi, I have a velocity yellow C6 with Z51 on order. Would love to put in a carbon fiber trim kit. Can anyone on the forum direct me as to where I can order one. Have looked at Zip and a few other sites with no luck. thanks in advance.

Nice look is it just a direct bolt on?

It just slides on oven the shift lever and is secured by 3 set screws.
