Sorry to bring this up again. I did a search but still have a question. I called Battery Mart to order a Battery Tender Plus and the guy asked about the application and how much the car draws when parked. I had assumed I should get the 12v 1.25A model to maintain the battery for the two or three weeks I may not drive it. However, there are three different units called Battery Tender Plus.
Is the 1.25A the model I need--or do I need a larger one?
1.25v works for me for the past three years. Just wish I would have done it sooner. I've got an 06 and not a problem. Best $25.00 investment. I just look for the green status light. Once in a while it is charging with the yellow status.
I use the Battery Tender Jr. It works just as well as the Bettery Tender Plus and is cheeper.
Used the Jr. on my bikes and cars for years. They can be found on Ebay for around $25.00. Still have the original battery on my 2000 Springer and I attribute that to using the Battery Tender whenever it is not ridden for a month or more. Best $25 you can spend.

Thanks.
Recommend Lectric Limited a NCRS supporting vendor. Very highly thought of in the Corvette community. Battery tenders are - 12v for $15 and 6v for $20. "Lectriclimited.com"
