Just picked up two sets of Chrome inserts for the rear and dash. The inserts worked well on the rear bumper but the dash inserts DO NOT STICK! Anyone else have this problem? I cleaned the area really good, it seems that the sticky part of the letters do not stick to well to the dash.
I think G.M. made the dash non-stick for a reason...The air bag is behind it and by putting anything on it it may cause injury if something is applied to it. Just give it some thought,Do you really want to chance hurting a loved one???

Correct. I would leave the passenger airbag cover alone. The airbag deployes at a high velocity and you really do not want a sharp metal "Corvette script" to be inserted into the passenger's chest.

BLUESIDE UP/DIRTY SIDE DOWN!
I never gave much thought about hurting someone with the air bag being deployed! But the letters I have are SOFT and almost like a sticker so I wouldn't worry too much. The Vendor I got them from is going to send another set out today.

Some insert letters are made from stainless steel.
I'll give it one more try! ANYONE HAVE ANY LUCK WITH THIS?
Had no problem "sticking" on dash or rear with chrome die cut vinyl letters.
Clean the dash area several times using a cotton swab soaked in alcohol. Make sure the area is dry prior to attempting install of letters.
Helps to use a hair dryer on the dash area prior to and after install of letters. Heat will activate the adhesive and help the letters conform to the dash.
