Here are a few ideas. My vinyl shop had trouble cutting them the necessary 1 1/2" x 2 1/2" but I am sure a high end shop might.

I did not use an LED since I want to keep the light if needed. It was originaly just white lettering and I had some of the red lens from anthor project and just added it last minute. If you got a piece of blue filter paper from the photo strore that would do it.
