Greetings,
As promised, here are some pics of the Garage Queen
Also, I wanted to mention that I had a hell of a time locating a Dash Kit (for future weekend warrior projects) for her, maybe because it is such a late model car, but my buddy Jay from www.discountcarstereo.com called me (per my request), and let me know that he has them in, and it is on its way. I wanted to share that with you guys (and gals) in case anybody is looking for one too. Ok, here are the pics:

Thanks for the hook-up (with the pics) as you guys can tell, not only am I not a good photograper, but also not very literate with posting pictures on here....no excuses, I know, but I will learn 
I have been driving.....still putt-putting though...only have 158 miles on her (for now) and everybody is passing me...but it's ok, i don't mind, it won't last for too long.

Dash kit for my AVIC-D1
Took me a while to get this post to display, but i'm learning! 
Here is a link and picture to the dash kit for installing the D1-- i'm also told that it will fit two regular size radios ... hope this helps

Actually, I am still going with the colored console, but decited to do it myself. I don't like the whole kit which includes parts of the dash, I only want the console part in DSOM, but nobody seems to sell just that part, and the dash kit I ordered for the D1 will sit behind the facia, so it won't be seen. if I am not mistaking, the only parts I will use, are the side clips, the rest is useless, those kits are funny, because they are not speciffic to the C6, this one is speciffic to the double din (size) which Chevy seems to have gone back to....at least that is what I have been told...I will practice with the picture taking and posting 
(don't worry, I won't quit my day job) and if anyone has attempted, or has taken out the console (front facial for radio) and stripped it, and re-painted, I would love to hear advice and suggestions Thanks
