Everyone forgets that when the wheel is spinning, the spokes disappear and the caliper really stands out.
I've seen black and it blends in with the tire. I'm biased, but red looks sharp. I've seen over 100+ different C-6's with every color caliper you could think of...last week purple calipers on a silver...and red still looks the best! IMHO

Ever seen a Velocity Yellow Vette with red calipers? I am trying to decide what color would be good for a Yellow Vette.
Red Duplicolor Paint in the can. Buy an additional 4 brushes about 1/4" wide and throw away the brush that comes with it. You'll use one for each coat because the paint dries fast. Have some thinner to clean off the letters after each coat. There's a bunch of ways to clean them off, but that was my way. Just follow the instructions on the box for cleaning the caliper.
This is for painting the calipers without taking them off.
