Ok, I'm looking at ordering a C6 and I drive a MN6 today, it was an absolut blast, but as a semi-daily driver I'm not 100% sure I want to deal with it in traffic. How is the performance between the 2? Do they have the same rear end ratio? Is the stick quicker (given a good driver)?

Different rear end ratios, A6 MXO=2.56 MN6=3.42 which doesnt really matter due to the transmissions having different gear ratios as well.
0-60mph with a stick and a very good driver should be 1/10th quicker.
1/4 mile is two tenths. Not much different in my opinion.

I think it depends on your priorities. If driving tight, curvy mountain roads is your idea of a good time, or spending weekends doing time trials at the local track, get the MN6.
But if you spend more than half your time in traffic, particularly in a hilly town like San Francisco, consider the auto. If you're ever going to get an automatic, this may be the year. A couple of my friends, getting older, bought C6s with autos and love them. These trannys are easy, smooth and quick for daily traffic.
The biggest decision maker will be how comfortable you are with driving the manual in the traffic and terrain you will be encountering most often. Performance is similar for both trannies.
